After 18 hours travelling via coach and ferry through France and Italy, we finally arrived safely at our destination of Pila in the Aosta region of the Italian Alps. Sunday was spent getting fitted for equipment for the week, planning an itinerary with our Inter-ski rep Rebecca, unpacking and catching up on some much needed sleep.

Monday was our first day on the slopes and we were lucky to get some the first snowfall in the area for seven weeks. We split into three groups, two learner groups (group 1) Alfie, Jenna and Steve, (group 2) Kane, Chris, Zack and Claire and our advanced group of Bethany and Tom who were skiing on a more advanced course. We have had a great day learning some new skills, we are all aching and have found muscles we didn’t knew existed!!

This evening we will spend some time with the groups from Oakley and Ifield school in our first Après Ski evening where we will be visiting a local restaurant for a Pizza Party.
