The pupils in Saxon class have been learning about ‘Celebrations around the World’ as part of their transdisciplinary theme learning. The pupils have ‘visited’ Mexico to find out more about ‘Day of the Dead’ and used art activities to support their development in mark making and counting.   The pupils have also  ‘visited’ India as part of RE, learning about Diwali. The pupils made diwa lamps to light the way home for Prince Rama and Princess Sita, made rangoli patterns, matching and counting numicom tiles and finally completed menhdi patterns on clay hands.
