Milestone@TheLeigh students take on the KSENT Olympics!

Students partaking in KSENT Olympic Games

Last week eight students from Milestone@Leigh represented us at the KSENT Olympics, which was hosted at Swallows Leisure Centre in Sittingbourne, Wednesday 26th June. The KSENT Olympics aims to provide a platform for pupils to showcase their physical abilities, develop teamwork skills, and foster a sense of camaraderie among participants.

On the day, the event focused on athletic prowess and emphasised the values of sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for fellow competitors. Our students thoroughly enjoyed participating in all of the inclusive activities and threw themselves into everything with enthusiasm, they especially enjoyed their Judo session, delivered by GB qualified Judo coaches. There was so much to get involved with and other favourite activities included seated basketball, kinball and tug of war!

It was a great day and our students demonstrated confidence, determination and, above all, how to have fun!
